I’m so excited! Tomorrow morning I am traveling to Nashville, Tennessee for NerdFest (a.k.a. NCTM Regional Conference Nashville 2015). There are four teachers from our high school going, which represents 50% of the math department. We are going to nerd out in the car and talk math for the whole four hour drive, spend roughly two days going to sessions, checking out the vendors, and eating out. Then we will head back home Friday around noon.
It will be my first time to present at a regional conference. I am in a room set for 128 people. I hope I fill it up — but even if there are only 20 participants in my session, they will learn a lot and take the circuit craft back to their students and schools.
Expect a follow up blog post from the road on the way home Friday afternoon!
