A student works the exam practice…

8th Grader #1:  Will you write my mom a note to tell her I am exempt from your exam?

Me:  Why?

8th Grader #1:  Because she won’t believe me if I tell her.

8th Grader#2:  I need a note too.

Me:  Ok… How many of you need notes?

Student:  I got the email that I am exempt from your exam, but I was wondering, if I take the exam what would I need to make on it to pull my average to an A?

Me:  ((87)(4) + x)/5 = 90

Student:  Is this exam easy?
